AR15 or similar carbine w/ 3 magazines
(AR platform guns chambered in .22LR or handgun calibers are permitted but they must be reliable)
Sling. Tactical style. 2-point preferred (no hunting slings)
Magazine pouches optional
Dump pouch or Rollypoly recommended
800 rounds of ammunition
Hearing and eye protection
Closed toe shoes and pants with pockets
Course Description:
Advanced shooters have mastered the basics and can perform them at speed and under stress. This course is designed to build a foundation as it’s applied to the AR15. High level understanding, combined with skill proficiency is what you can gain from this training.
There’s plenty to learn about this very specific weapon platform. We’ll cover it all. Presentation skills, firing techniques and sling use are just a few.
Training is based on essential principles increasing speed, accuracy, and competence with the carbine.
Special Concerns: This is a physically demanding course with extensive amounts of shooting, weapon manipulation and lots of getting up and down for positional shooting. Full focus and attention to detail is necessary to maintain safety on the range.
