Course Description:    

You don’t have to be the biggest or strongest person on the range to shoot well. Proper mechanics and attention to muscular and skeletal alignment can get you shooting better than you’ve ever imagined.

Experience shows that ladies learn best in and environment with like minded individuals. Our two-day Ladies Only Handgun Operator class immerses you in a team environment where you can learn and have fun. However, if you feel that two days seems like too much, come for day one of this training session (CLICK HERE) and get some solid knowledge as well as some trigger time on the range.

Bring your own gun or use one of ours. We’ll cover revolvers and semi-automatic handguns, and no holsters or magazine pouches are necessary. Whatever you decide, we’ll supply the ammunition.

Between classroom and live-fire range training this course will cover weapon familiarization and the fundamentals of shooting.

Special Concerns: There are no special concerns for this class.

Training includes:

• Ammunition provided for  .22 L/R, .38 Special, .380 Auto, 9mm, or .45 ACP
• Handgun loan if required
• Mechanics of grip
• Mechanics of  stance/platform
• Efficient weapon presentation
• Sight alignment and sight  picture
• Trigger management
• 360° Situational awareness  and personal safety
• Safe motor programs for loading and making ready
• Safe motor programs for clearing of a weapon
• Weapon malfunction clearance

Required Equipment:

*Students can bring a personal firearm/firearms and still be eligible for a loaned firearm at Range Ready. Ammunition will be supplied for all students providing they are chambered in .22 L/R, .38 Special, .380 Auto, 9mm, or .45 ACP.

Your handgun and 3 magazines or speed loaders (for revolvers).

Ammunition if your gun is not chambered in .22 L/R, .38 Special, .380 Auto, 9mm, or .45 ACP.

Suitable eye/ear protection and outdoor range attire.
